Korey and I met online while I was living in Champaign. We first met in a small town between us (Mansfield) for a fire and a beer. That night we saw a shooting star and I knew he was going to be a special part of my life. From that moment on it was him and I against the world. Every weekend we were together spending time with each others friends and family. Fast forward to Christmas that year I brought him home to meet my family where we said I love you for the first time at The Lantern downtown Naperville.

Korey and I gravitate towards live music- our perfect night out always starts with a concert.

Every summer we attend Tailgates n' Tallboys - a country festival in Bloomington IL. All our favorite artists right in our backyard.

This year was no different except it was ;)

Korey had the most perfect plan- after listening to a few great artists we made our way toward a "tailgate" with some friends. As we rounded the corner to the truck, I heard our song playing and it clicked, this wasn't just a casual tailgate. As he dropped to one knee and popped the question, the cheers from surrounding tailgates and our friends coming to celebrate, kickstarted the weekend of celebrating our love and the beautiful beginning of this new chapter.
